The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops

Noah Pinsonnault is a product review analyst for the Home Care and Cleaning Lab at Good Housekeeping.

He tests and evaluates cleaning equipment. His main focus is robot vacuums, and mopping combinations. Multitaskers can be an excellent choice for those who are looking to get rid of mopping off their list of tasks. Some models have superior mapping and obstacle avoidance. Others even wash and refill mopping pads themselves for a hands-free clean.

The Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking to buy a robot vacuum that also mops then this is the model to go for. It's smaller than other options on this list making it easier to navigate in tight corners and under furniture. It features a 220 degree lidar that combined with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it some of the most effective navigation and object avoidance that I've ever seen in a robotic vacuum.  best robot vacuum cleaner 's powered by a 4600mAh battery which can last up to 170 minutes when mopping and sucking is set to standard mode. (It can run longer when it is set to turbo). It will even return to the dock to top up its battery halfway through an efficient.

It's very quick and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It is able to vacuum carpeted rooms quickly, and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room and hallways with only one pass. Its suction motor of 8,000pa will quickly pick up sand, dirt and pet hair. Carpet detection boosts power automatically when it encounters rugs and the dual side brushes help draw out dirt from corners.

The mopping performance is less impressive, though not by a lot. The rotating mop spins at a high speed and pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly scraping away dirt and staining. I've noticed that the front arm sticks out a little more than other robots. This is helpful when getting into tight corners or along baseboards. Those same front arms can also be used to clean larger pieces of debris, such as broken toys and books.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mop and vacuums I've tried. It doesn't produce as loud of a sound when mopping or vacuuming and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it needs to utilize a specific mopping solution and is sold separately. It is easy to set up and performs well. However when you purchase this robot vacuum solely to mop you must be aware of this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from the majority of robot vacuums which mops in its class. It is equipped with a broad array of features that make it a great choice for homeowners who want a highly effective, versatile, and customizable cleaning machine.

budget robot vacuum  has an extremely powerful and impressive cleaning system that combines LiDAR sensors with an RGB camera to map the home and detect furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean intelligently and effectively. This ensures an efficient and consistent cleaning and is also rapid.

In terms of mopping, Q Revo's DuoRoller mop pads can reach a wide range of surfaces. This includes corners, baseboards, and other hard-to-reach areas. The side brush can be stretched to reach the floor close to the walls and other fixtures. The mop pads can also be washable and can be dried to remove odors and prevent buildup.

App-based customization is yet another noteworthy feature. The Q Revo allows you to adjust the suction level and select an back-and-forth or random pattern. You can also choose the number of passes, which will determine how quickly it can move around your home. You can even choose to turn off the side brush to avoid damaging rugs and carpets.

The device has a high price tag but comes with a large selection of advanced features. It is important to note that the device is subject to recurring expenses in the form mopping supplies and regular maintenance. For example brushrolls need to be replaced every six to twelve months or after 300 hours. The filter should be cleaned after 150 hours, and the mop pads should be changed every three month.

This robot vacuum mop has an excellent Amazon rating and comes with a wide range of physical automation features. This includes an energy button that can also function as a general 'Clean button, as well as a 'Home button that sends it back to its base station after finishing the cleaning process. It also comes with a multi-functional dock that automatically empty the trash bin, fills up its water tank and washes and dry its mop pads.

The Shark Matrix Plus

The Shark Matrix Plus will be the ideal option for busy professionals or anyone who wants to keep their home clean without spending too much time on chores. It is a powerful machine with smart navigation, and a long battery life that allows you to keep your home tidy with minimal effort.

The Matrix Plus robot vacuum is a two-in-one vacuum and mop. It can do both mopping and vacuuming. It has two modules: a dry bin and water reservoir and a separate mopping unit with a microfiber pad that snaps in and out of place. It's a bit old-fashioned to have separate modules for mopping and vacuuming, but it does mean that you don't need to worry about changing the bags for disposables or refilling the tank with water.

The Matrix Plus performed well at vacuuming and mopping. Its best feature was its precise floorplan map that it uses to draw the path to follow when cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate around furniture, rugs and other obstacles. The app lets you create 'No-Go Zones' and virtual barriers to prevent certain areas from being cleaned by a mop.

We also noticed that the Matrix Plus did surprisingly well in removing hair from pets. It was able capture some of the hair that sheds from our cats. It even got into some of the nooks and crannies on our stairs where other robots struggled. It was silent and also had a few lovely jingles to let you know when it was starting or completing its task.

Its main drawbacks were its simplistic app and the need to change out the modules when switching between vacuuming and mopping. The app cannot save multiple maps. This could be a problem if your home has a variety of floors. The Matrix Plus is a good option for those who want a smart robot that can perform both mopping and vacuuming.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that mops in our review, however it also has distinctive features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni is most notable for its enormous dock that serves as a charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two water tanks that are 4 liters in size. It also houses two bins: a 2.5-liter dust bin as well as an 2.5 liter dust bin.

The base also comes with a set of control buttons that allow you to manually start a cleaning job, recall the robot, or start the dock's auto-emptying process. Hold down two buttons to turn off the child lock which is a great option for parents concerned about kids tinkering with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums the X1 Omni uses its camera to spot furniture and obstacles in its path and eliminate them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system will map your home 10 times faster than standard laser detection systems and is four times more precise at recognizing objects.

The X1 can be prone to become stuck if it gets caught in an obstacle like a power cable tangled over a rug. It won't work until you untangle it manually. This was a rare occurrence however it was frustrating because the X1 doesn't have an "stuck status" alert in its app.

Another issue that could be a problem is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically change between vacuuming and mopping modes during the cleaning process. You will need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't a big deal except for the fact that the mopping pads haven't been cleaned and dried between use which could lead to mildew or mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed the sleek modern base and mopping pad. It's a big contrast to the basic black bases of competitors like Roborock or iRobot. It's also an impressive sight in a market dominated by clunky boxy models.
